About the Ride:
Celebrate Independence Day on two wheels at Spokes and Sparklers, a fun-filled cycling event held at Tonkawa Falls in Crawford, Texas, the hometown of the 43rd President of the United States.
This recreational, non-competitive ride offers route options for cyclists of all abilities, featuring gentle rolling hills and scenic countryside roads. Riders can choose from 12, 26, 37, or 50-mile routes, making it an excellent event for families, recreational cyclists, and experienced riders alike.
Hosted by The Bear Mountain Outdoor and Bike Shop, the event includes the return of their popular blender bike, serving smoothies and margaritas after the ride. Riders are welcome to bring their own beverages if desired.
Rest stops will be located every 10 to 15 miles and will be stocked with fresh food, cold drinks, portable restrooms, and enthusiastic volunteers to keep riders fueled and motivated throughout the course.

- Friday, July 3, 2026: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at The Bear Mountain Bike Shop, 4401 W. Waco Dr.
- Saturday, July 4, 2026: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM at Tonkawa Falls Clubhouse
