The Rock Island Ride is an annual cycling event in Chickasha, Oklahoma, offering a variety of routes for cyclists of all experience levels. Riders can choose from 10, 28, 41-mile gravel, 42, or 63-mile routes that showcase the scenic roads and countryside surrounding Chickasha.
The event is known for its welcoming atmosphere, affordable registration, and strong community support. The first 250 riders who pre-register receive an event T-shirt, and participants can compete for King of the Mountain (KOM) and Queen of the Mountain (QOM) prizes, with cash awards of $150 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place.
Proceeds from the ride benefit local charities, making every mile ridden an investment in the Chickasha community. In addition to the cycling event, attendees can enjoy a full weekend of activities designed for riders and their families.
