Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Ride Distance: 20 miles
State: Texas (TX)
Location: Bayou Parkland, 6532 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77021
About the Ride:
The Park to Port Bike Ride is Hermann Park Conservancy’s 12th annual cycling event, presented by Port Houston. The 20-mile round-trip ride takes cyclists from Hermann Park’s Bayou Parkland along the Bayou Greenway trail to Mason Park, near the Port of Houston.
Open to riders of all skill levels, Park to Port is a recreational ride rather than a race. Cyclists can ride at their own pace while enjoying a scenic journey through Houston and the growing Bayou Greenway trail system.
The ride also features a turnaround celebration at Mason Park, followed by a post-ride party under the Bill Coats Bridge. Participation helps support Hermann Park Conservancy and its ongoing stewardship of Hermann Park while encouraging greater use and appreciation of Houston’s Bayou Greenway trails.
Park to Port is a scenic, non-competitive ride suitable for cyclists of all skill levels. It combines an accessible 20-mile route with opportunities to enjoy Houston’s trail system, a turnaround celebration, and a post-ride gathering, while supporting Hermann Park Conservancy.
