The Durant Rotary Club invites you to the Magnolia Bike Tour, a cornerstone event of the annual Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma. As contractors for this event, we are proud to highlight that for 28 years, this ride has served as a primary fundraiser for local initiatives, including student leadership camps, Meals on Wheels, and Families Feeding Families.

Specializing in low-traffic rural roads, the Magnolia Bike Tour offers cyclists an authentic escape into the beautiful countryside surrounding the “City of Magnolias.” With generous volunteers and frequent, well-stocked rest stops, it is a favorite for riders from both Oklahoma and North Texas. Whether you are aiming for a personal best or a leisurely day with the family, the welcoming atmosphere makes this ride a must-attend spring tradition.

Ride Distances & Routes

The tour offers several road and off-road options to suit your riding style:

Road Routes: 20, 40, and 65 miles. These paved courses take you through the quiet scenery of Bryan County.
Gravel Route: A 50-mile (80 km) “Gravel Grinder” for those looking to conquer unpaved paths and rural trails.
Surface Note: All road routes are on paved surfaces with minimal vehicle traffic.

The Durant Rotary Club ensures a high-quality experience for every participant:

Rest Stops: Multiple well-stocked stops along all routes to keep you hydrated and energized.
Volunteer Support: Numerous volunteers are stationed throughout the course to provide guidance and mechanical assistance.

Event Schedule

7:00 AM: Same-day registration and packet pick-up opens at Durant High School.
8:00 AM: Official Start Time. All rides begin promptly.
10:30 AM – 2:00 PM: Post-ride gathering and lunch.
All Day: Explore the Magnolia Festival featuring carnival rides, over 150 vendors, and live entertainment in Downtown Durant.
