About the Ride:

We’re back in 2024 with that still-new, smooth, and super-fast park road surface. Like last year we’re once again closing down ALL camping loops that require course access so the only traffic on the course will be racers driving to/from the parking lot. Unfortunately, the Hill Climb TT will NOT be returning in 2024. We’re also changing the name of our two primary races from Road Race –to–> Circuit Race to more accurately reflect the race distance, course, and character.

As of 2019, the Cedar Hill Race Festival is a collaboration between Armeaux Cycling, Jesuit Cycling, and Cedar Hill State Park with a portion of proceeds going to the Jesuit Dallas varsity cycling team. Races are standard USAC races. Promoter may combine races or adjust the length if field minimums are not met in pre-reg. ** Masters Men 50+(1/2/3/4) & 60+(open) scored separately but paid combined, & Women’s p/1/2/3/4 scored & paid separately from Masters Men 40+. Women’s 3/4; 40+ 3/4/5; 50+; 60+; & 5 scored separately. Junior boys 9-14 cat 4/5, Jr girls 9-14, & Junior Open boys & girls race together but scored separately. The minimum total prize list for weekend = $4,175. No prize list will exceed $830 for a single race.

Held rain, shine, cold, or snow: NO refunds unless the park cancels. 75% refund if that happens. Hey, we have certain fixed costs associated with it and nature is out of our control. Pay attention to our Facebook page, email, and our website for updated weather and race information.

Pre-reg at bikereg.com for a discounted rate (service fees apply). Pre-reg will open ASAP (think early January 2024) and will end Wednesday 31 January at 10:45 PM CST. USAC licenses are required. One-day licenses are sold for eligible categories. Registration & number pick-up begins at 6:30 am on the event day & ends 20 mins before ea. race. *Timing transponders required for race scoring: $5 rental per day or purchase onsite

All USAC Rules apply – all racers must have a certified cycling helmet on their head when on a bike. All racers under 18 MUST have a signed parental permission slip to race – NO EXCEPTIONS. (Available on-site or download here) Juniors (18 & under) must pass Jr. roll out.

Cedar Hill State Park: 1570 FM 1382 Cedar Hill, TX 75104. All people entering the park 13 and over must pay the park entrance fee of $7. Allow 30 minutes extra time for park entrance & race check-in.
