About the Ride

The Breakthrough T1D Ride, Austin 2026 is an inaugural cycling fundraising event taking place in the legendary Texas Hill Country from October 29 through November 1, 2026. Cyclists will roll along live oak-lined country roads, quiet ranchlands, and expansive hill country vistas while uniting in a shared mission: accelerating life-changing breakthroughs toward a world free of type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Designed to be fully inclusive, the event warmly welcomes both first-time riders and experienced endurance cyclists. Riders can select from multiple distance options, take advantage of customizable fundraising packages—which may include lodging, airfare, and bike shipping—and receive a personal fundraising portal to collect donations and earn commemorative apparel.
