About the Ride

The Life Time Austin Rattler takes place at legendary Reveille Peak Ranch in the Texas Hill Country, located just northwest of Austin near Burnet. Spanning more than 60 miles of interconnected trails—including rugged singletrack, fast doubletrack, and punchy granite ranch roads—the ranch provides a premier testing ground for endurance riders.

The Saturday MTB event offers 20-, 40-, and 60-mile options with first-come, first-served self-positioning at the start line. Riders can turn the weekend into a multi-sport family getaway by participating in the Sunday trail running events (10M, 20M, 50K) or bringing younger cyclists for Friday’s 4:00 PM kids race.

Finish Festival & Live Music

The finish festival kicks off Saturday at 9:00 AM with food, cold drinks, and live performances all weekend—featuring the Red Dirt Drifters on Friday, and Tyler Cannon alongside Steel Belts on Saturday.

Pre-Ride Ranch Access

Riders eager to preview Reveille Peak Ranch’s technical granite trails and drops can take advantage of designated pre-ride and run days for a modest $15 ranch gate access fee.
