About the Ride: Tour de Pink is the first bike ride in Texas solely benefiting breast cancer. Join us this year as we celebrate our 8th ANNIVERSARY – scheduled for
Sunday, September 16th, at Prairie View A&M University outside of Houston, Texas.
In addition to the registration fee, each cyclist is required to raise a minimum $125 in pledges from family and friends. Early/online registration is $30 and will close on September 9, 2012. Late registration is $40 when you register in person at packet pick-up on September 14th and 15th and day-of registration is $50 on September 16th.
Participants will be raising money for Pink Ribbons Project, in motion against breast cancer to fight breast cancer through awareness and education programs and the support of proper screening for the medically underserved funding and outreach initiatives. Since it’s inception in 2005, Tour de Pink has helped Pink Ribbons Project make a powerful impact within the Greater Houston Community through the efforts of dedicated riders, volunteers, sponsors and all those people who pledge.
