TXFallenPD Tribute Event
Honoring Texas law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty
About the Ride
The TXFallenPD Tribute Event is an annual community fundraising event honoring Texas law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Established in 2008 as a police bicycle race, the event has grown to include multiple activities supporting the Texas Police Chiefs Association’s Fallen Officer Fund, which provides financial assistance to the families of fallen Texas officers. The 2026 event honors Sgt. Dennis Oliver.
The event features a 5K run, the TXFallenPD Citizens Honor Ride, and the First Responder Honor Bike Race/Ride for certified or retired first responders. There is also a kids’ Ride with a Cop activity, offering families an opportunity to participate in the tribute.
Beyond the athletic events, attendees can enjoy vendors, live music, yard games, a kids’ zone, food, and drinks. Since its beginning, the event has raised more than $500,000 for the Fallen Officer Fund, with an ambitious fundraising goal of $50,000 for 2026.
Honoring Fallen Heroes
All proceeds support the TPCA Fallen Officer Fund, delivering critical direct financial relief to the surviving families of Texas officers lost in the line of duty.
