38th Gator Ride, Gear Up to End Hunger!
Supporting Hearts and Hands of Baytown in the fight against food insecurity
About the Ride
The 38th Annual Gator Ride, Gear Up to End Hunger, is a community cycling event supporting efforts to fight food insecurity in the Baytown area. The ride offers several distance options, making it suitable for experienced cyclists, recreational riders, and families.
The longer routes offer a memorable ride across the iconic Fred Hartman Bridge, with views of the San Jacinto Monument and a crossing on the historic Lynchburg Ferry. Riders looking for a shorter challenge can choose the 33- or 53-mile routes, while a 6-mile family ride provides an option for those who prefer a more relaxed experience. The event also serves as an additional training ride for the MS150.
Proceeds benefit Hearts and Hands of Baytown’s annual campaign to address food insecurity. Through programs that provide access to fresh, healthy food and support self-sufficiency, the organization works to help local families meet their basic needs with dignity.
