Celebrating Women’s History Month at White Rock Lake

Event Information

Calling all DFW women cyclists! To kick off Women’s History Month, Bike Friendly Grand Prairie has teamed up with Pull Through Coffee Bar and Pull The Line for a special edition of the Monthly Women’s Shop Ride. As contractors for this event, we are proud to support this woman-led initiative designed specifically to empower and connect the female cycling community across Dallas and Fort Worth.

This is a No-Drop, conversational-paced ride, meaning no rider will be left behind. It is the perfect environment for those looking to build confidence on their bikes or simply meet fellow female enthusiasts. After completing two scenic laps around the iconic White Rock Lake, the group will return to the shop for “coffee talk” and community building.

Ride Details & Requirements

Distance: Approximately 18–20 miles (two laps around White Rock Lake).
Pace: Conversational and social; this is not a race.
Skill Level: All levels are welcome, though road bikes are highly encouraged to keep pace with the group.
Safety: Helmets are mandatory for all participants.

Support and Amenities

Ride Leaders: Experienced female cyclists will lead the group, providing guidance and encouragement throughout the route.
Post-Ride Perks: All participants enjoy 20% OFF beverages, treats, and refreshments at Pull Through Coffee Bar immediately following the ride.
Community: A great opportunity to network with members of Women Cyclists of Dallas and Lady Cycling groups.

Event Schedule

11:30 AM: Arrival and Meet & Greet. Arrive early to jive with the ride leaders and meet other cyclists.
12:00 PM: Wheels Down. The group departs promptly from the coffee bar.
1:30 PM (Approx.): Post-ride social and coffee at Pull Through Coffee Bar.
