The Blazin’ Saddle 75 Bicycle Rally returns for its 18th annual edition, inviting cyclists to experience one of the most scenic and challenging rides in North Texas. This event is widely recognized for its signature climbs at Skulls Crossing, Mongo’s Mountain, and The Peak, providing an unforgettable landscape for participants. As a not for profit event, the rally focuses on community engagement and provides an excellent environment for athletes of all backgrounds.
Many participants utilize this rally as a primary training day for the upcoming Hotter’ N Hell 100 or various regional triathlons. The course is designed to offer significant time in the saddle while ensuring a safe and professionally managed environment. Riders can expect clearly marked routes and a dedicated team of volunteers focused on providing a high quality experience through the beautiful Granbury countryside.
Ride Distances
The Blazin’ Saddle 75 Bicycle Rally offers four distinct route options to ensure that every rider finds a distance suited to their skill level and training goals:
75 Miles: The premier long distance route for endurance athletes seeking maximum time in the saddle.
100K (62 Miles): A classic metric century distance that challenges seasoned cyclists.
47 Miles: Designed for intermediate riders seeking a solid morning challenge.
20 Miles: A shorter, scenic route perfect for casual participants and those new to rally riding.
Support and Logistics
Riders can expect a fully supported experience, including seven well stocked rest stops positioned at regular intervals to keep everyone hydrated and fueled. The course is patrolled by SAG vehicles and professional mechanics to assist with any mechanical issues that may arise. Participants who register early will receive a custom Blazin’ Saddle T-shirt, though riders may opt to skip the shirt for a registration discount. Please note that T-shirts are not guaranteed for those who register during the final week of the event.
