The Peach Pedal Bike Ride is a premier cycling event that invites participants to explore the beautiful landscapes of Parker County while celebrating the local peach harvest. This annual ride serves as a significant fundraiser for the United Way of Parker County and the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce. Cyclists can enjoy a well-organized event that emphasizes community spirit and support for local non-profits.
Participants will start and finish their journey at Weatherford High School. The event is famous for its hospitality, featuring rest stops stocked with snacks and an abundance of fresh peaches for all riders. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable; if a participant is unable to attend, their fee is considered a charitable donation to the supported organizations.
Ride Distances
The Peach Pedal Bike Ride offers four distinct route options to accommodate various skill levels and training goals:
61 Miles: The premier long-distance route for experienced cyclists, starting at 7:30 AM.
38 Miles: A challenging intermediate route designed for steady riders, starting at 7:45 AM.
28 Miles: A moderate distance perfect for those seeking a solid morning workout, starting at 8:00 AM.
8 Miles: A shorter route ideal for casual participants or families, starting at 8:00 AM.
Support and Logistics
Riders will receive a stylish event T-shirt with their registration and have access to numerous rest stops along the courses. Safety is a top priority for this event, and all participants are strictly required to wear helmets. The course is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all who participate in this North Texas tradition.
