Join the Anchor Club of Cuero for their annual Wildflower Bike Ride! This non-competitive cycling event offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the beautiful, rolling countryside around Cuero, Texas. Riders are encouraged to keep an eye out for the vibrant Texas wildflowers that often bloom along the routes during this time of year.
The ride offers five distinct routes, ranging from 10 to 60 miles, featuring a great combination of hills and beautiful sceneries. This event is perfect for cyclists of all skill levels, from families to experienced endurance riders.
Ride Proceeds: The Anchor Club of Cuero is a high school service organization that uses funds raised to promote awareness of head injuries, send students to leadership conventions, and support various service projects within their school and local community.
Safety and Support
The organizers prioritize rider safety on all routes.
- SAG Stops and Port-O-Lets will be conveniently located on all routes, furnishing riders with water, snacks, and some basic bike supplies.
- SAG (Support and Gear) Vehicles will be actively patrolling all routes to provide assistance.
- Safety Requirement: Riders should be aware of hazards and are responsible for their own safety. A responsible rider must accompany (within viewing distance of) children under 18 years old.
- Same-Day Details: The ride starts at 8:00 AM CDT. Same-day registration and check-in begin at 7:00 AM CDT.

- Cost: $40 per bike (Same-day registration is available).
- Inclusions: One free event shirt is included with registration. To be guaranteed a shirt, riders must submit their size by the March 1st deadline.
