About the Event:
Part of North Texas’ favorite weekly mountain bike racing series, Race 8 of the DFW Summer Series takes place at Erwin Park in McKinney. Presented by Sun & Ski Sports, this short track format offers a fun, fast-paced race over a variety of terrain, including open fields, tree gates, roots, and small drops. All riders should be familiar with short track features and confident in varied conditions.
Format:
- Mass start by category
- Laps: 2.7 miles each
- Course: Wide open sections, technical turns, and natural obstacles
Start Times:
- Juniors: 6:00 PM
- Women: 6:30 PM
- Men, Singlespeed, and E-bike: 7:15 PM
Registration Fees:
- Adults (14+): $30 pre-registration / $40 late registration
- Juniors (under 13): $20 pre-registration / $30 late registration
Additional Info:
- Rider age calculated based on age as of December 31, 2025
- No parking on grass or soft surfaces
- All races begin and end at the Hilltop Pavilion
