CAUSE:

Our Annual Rodeo Road Rally event is our flagship fundraiser program. Last year, we had more than 850 riders of all ages from across Texas and other states. Because of your support, our club was able to give back more than $35,000 to our community through scholarships to local high school students, and donations to the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation, Sharing Life Community Outreach, Addressing Mesquite Day, and a number of other local groups. In addition, we cover the cost for student leaders to attend Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening), a week-long leadership camp for emerging high school leaders.

Let’s make this year’s Rodeo Road Rally bigger and better than ever!

ROUTES:

Our Rodeo Road Rally offers three distances to choose from: 12 miles, 24 miles, 50 miles, or 62 miles. Whether you are a casual rider with a family, or a hard-core rider looking for long-distance, we have a route for you.

Based on the route you choose, there will be up to five rest stops staffed by volunteers where you can pick up water, sports drinks, bananas, cookies, and other snacks. Thanks to our amazing partnerships with local law enforcement, all major intersections are staffed by peace officers who stop traffic for our riders. We also offer roadside assistance service to our riders, and emergency crews are on standby to ensure a fun and safe experience for all.

Designated sections for both automobile and bicycle parking will be made available for participants and spectators near the starting point of the event. All routes begin and end at the E.H. Hanby Stadium in Mesquite.

Follow color-coded arrows and signs for your designated route.

12 Mile – Yellow

24 Mile – Green

50/62 Mile – Orange

Important: Riders on the Orange Route must maintain a 15.5 mph average.  The Orange Route cutoff at Mile 18 will close at 8:40am.  Riders arriving at Mile 18 after 8:40am will be diverted to the Green Route.  Orange Route Rest Stops will close on the following schedule:

Mile 25 – Rest Stop #3 will close at 9:10am.
