The Tour de Paris began in 1984 with a small group of cycling enthusiasts and has blossomed into a premier North Texas community event that draws over 1,700 participants and volunteers. As contractors for this event, we are proud to showcase a ride that perfectly balances the charm of historic Paris, Texas, with a professional racing atmosphere. Known for its exceptional hospitality, the rally is the final jewel in the European Tour of Texas challenge.
Starting and ending at the Love Civic Center—home to the famous Eiffel Tower replica with its red cowboy hat—the event offers a unique mix of paved county roads and off-road trail experiences. Whether you are aiming for a personal best on the 80-mile loop or taking a leisurely family ride on the Northeast Texas Trail, you will be met with enthusiastic support and a community that treats every rider like a neighbor.
Ride Distances & Routes
The 2026 tour features multiple tailored routes for all skill levels and bike types:
- County Road Routes: 22, 35, 57, 68, and 80 miles. These routes wind through the scenic countryside of Lamar County.
- Off-Road Routes (Northeast Texas Trail): 14 and 24-mile options. These are perfect for those who prefer the safety and scenery of a dedicated trail over road riding.
Support and Amenities
The Tour de Paris is renowned for its “Texas-sized” hospitality and rider care:
- Rest Stops: Fully staffed stations provide hydration, snacks, and mechanical assistance at regular intervals.
- Meals: The event features a $5 Chicken Spaghetti Dinner on Friday evening and a $5 Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Saturday morning at the Love Civic Center.
- Post-Ride Fun: After crossing the finish line, riders can recharge with complimentary hamburgers, fruit smoothies, and various after-ride activities.
- On-Site Logistics: RV and tent campsites with utilities are available on-site; contact the Love Civic Center at 903-739-9912 for reservations.

- Friday, July 17: * 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Early Registration & Packet Pickup.
- 4:00 PM: $5 Chicken Spaghetti Dinner begins.
- Saturday, July 18:
- 6:00 AM – 7:45 AM: Packet Pickup & On-Site Registration.
- 6:00 AM: $5 Pancake and Sausage Breakfast begins.
- 8:00 AM: Official Start for all routes.
- 2:00 PM: Final deadline for t-shirt pickup.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees are tiered based on sign-up date. Please note that T-shirts are not included in the registration fee but can be purchased separately for $10.00 (order deadline: June 12, 2026).
