The Stampede 200 is an elite ultra endurance cycling challenge that takes riders through the iconic and rugged terrain of the Texas Hill Country. This double century event is specifically designed for ambitious athletes looking to transition from traditional century rides or Gran Fondos to more demanding long distance objectives. The course provides a rigorous test of physical and mental fortitude, set against the backdrop of rolling hills and picturesque rural landscapes.
Riders will navigate a two loop course that covers a total distance of 203 miles. With a cumulative elevation gain exceeding 11,000 feet, the Stampede 200 demands strategic pacing and thorough preparation. The event is hosted in Fredericksburg, a location renowned for its challenging cycling routes and deep connection to the Texas agricultural community.

The Stampede 200 is a dedicated ultra distance event featuring a single, comprehensive route for all participants:
203 Miles: The premier double century route featuring 11,000+ feet of elevation gain on a two loop course.
Support and Logistics
The event is supported by three strategically placed aid stations along the two loop course to ensure riders remain fueled and hydrated throughout their journey. Beyond the individual challenge, participants have the opportunity to compete for the Stampede 200 Club Cup. This team based competition allows members of the same bike club or team to compete for the fastest cumulative time, with a minimum of three members required per team. Each participant is also timed individually within the solo category.
