Date: June 1, 2024
Event: Rodeo Road Rally
Route Distances: 12, 24, 50/62 miles
About this event:
Our Annual Rodeo Road Rally event is our flagship fundraiser program. Last year, we had more than 850 riders of all ages from across Texas and other states. Because of your support, our club was able to give back more than $35,000 to our community through scholarships to local high school students, and donations to the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation, Sharing Life Community Outreach, Addressing Mesquite Day, and a number of other local groups. In addition, we cover the cost for student leaders to attend Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening), a week-long leadership camp for emerging high school leaders.
Let’s make this year’s Rodeo Road Rally bigger and better than ever!
The Routes
Our Rodeo Road Rally offers three distances to choose from: 12 miles, 24 miles, 50 miles, or 62 miles. Whether you are a casual rider with a family, or a hard-core rider looking for long distance, we have a route for you.
Based on the route you choose, there will be up to five rest stops staffed by volunteers where you can pick up water, sports drinks, bananas, cookies, and other snacks. Thanks to our amazing partnerships with local law enforcement, all major intersections are staffed by peace officers who stop traffic for our riders. We also offer roadside assistance service to our riders, and emergency crews are on standby to ensure a fun and safe experience for all.
Designated sections for both automobile and bicycle parking will be made available for participants and spectators near the starting point of the event. All routes begin and end at the E.H. Hanby Stadium in Mesquite.
