The 46th Muenster Metric Century Bicycle Rally is a storied tradition in the North Texas cycling community. This event takes riders through the beautiful and scenic landscapes surrounding Muenster, offering a course that is both fast and challenging. Participants should be prepared for rolling hills, long climbs, and steep descents that define the unique topography of this region. Beyond the physical challenge, the rally is a festive celebration of local culture, timed perfectly to coincide with the city’s famous GermanFest.

This ride serves as a vital fundraiser for the Sacred Heart Catholic School family. All proceeds go directly toward supporting the school’s needs, including building maintenance, textbooks, and athletic expenses. Because this is a charitable event, all entry fees are nonrefundable. The community atmosphere, combined with the rigorous course, makes this one of the most anticipated rallies of the spring season.

Ride Distances

The Muenster Metric Century Bicycle Rally offers three distinct route options on paved roads to accommodate various fitness levels:

100 Kilometer (63 Miles): The premier distance for experienced endurance cyclists looking to conquer the steepest climbs.
65 Kilometer (40 Miles): A solid intermediate distance that captures the heart of the scenic countryside.
35 Kilometer (22 Miles): A shorter route ideal for casual riders or those new to the hill country experience.

Support and Logistics

The event is fully supported to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants. Rest stops are positioned approximately 10 to 15 miles apart, offering water, fruit, and other liquids. Medical aid is provided along the route and at the finish by Muenster Memorial Hospital staff and local paramedics. For those unable to complete the course, SAG wagons are available to return riders to the start.

Registration and Fees

Riders are encouraged to register early to secure their T-shirt and take advantage of lower pricing.

Pre-registration (Postmarked by April 19, 2026): $60 per rider.
Late and Day-of Registration: $70 per rider.
Packet Pick-up: Available Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday, April 25, from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Community Center.
