Event Information

The Mesquite Rodeo Road Rally is the premier annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Mesquite, a tradition that brings together over 850 cyclists from across Texas and neighboring states. Known for its seamless organization and community spirit, the rally is a high-energy event designed to support vital local initiatives. As contractors for this event, we are proud to highlight that proceeds directly fund scholarships for local high school students and support organizations such as the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation, Sharing Life Community Outreach, and Addressing Mesquite Day.

Participants are treated to a well-supported ride that emphasizes both safety and hospitality. The rally is famous for its post-ride rewards, including a complimentary lunch provided by Whataburger of Mesquite and refreshing Blue Bell Ice Cream, which can be enjoyed in the comfortable setting of Hanby Stadium. It is a ride that combines physical challenge with a direct, positive impact on the Mesquite community.

Ride Distances

The Rodeo Road Rally offers four distinct route options to accommodate everyone from casual families to endurance athletes:

64 Miles: The longest route, perfect for seasoned cyclists looking for a metric century-style challenge.
54 Miles: A substantial intermediate route covering the scenic rural-urban mix of Mesquite.
29 Miles: A moderate distance great for recreational riders.
17 Miles: A shorter, accessible route ideal for beginners and families.

Support and Logistics

The Rotary Club ensures a top-tier experience for all participants:

Rest Stops: Up to five volunteer-staffed stops provide water, sports drinks, bananas, and cookies.
Traffic Control: Major intersections are monitored by peace officers to ensure rider safety.
Whataburger Lunch: Your registration includes a free Whataburger lunch; additional lunches for friends and family can be purchased for $5.00.
Commemorative Gear: The first 1,100 riders to register are guaranteed a super-soft, ring-spun event t-shirt.

Ride Day Schedule

6:00 AM: On-site registration and packet pick-up opens (Note: Ride day prices are $5.00 higher).
7:30 AM: Ride start for all distances; distance riders typically depart in the first wave.
2:00 PM: Official course support concludes.

Registration

Online registration is available through BikeReg or RunSignup. Participants are encouraged to register by May 31 to avoid price increases and to secure their event t-shirt.
