Event Information
The LifeCycle Bike Benefit Tour is a premier charity cycling event dedicated to supporting Heart of Hope — A Sanctuary for Women. As contractors for this event, we are proud to highlight that your participation directly impacts the lives of young women experiencing unplanned pregnancies by providing them with a safe haven, education, and professional counseling. Since its inception in 2011, LifeCycle has become a favorite in the Ark-La-Tex region, known for its high-energy atmosphere and deep community impact.
Riders can expect a top-tier experience featuring gently rolling terrain through the quiet roads of Caddo Parish. The event is famous for its “Premier Swag” (if you know, you know!) and a festive post-ride celebration that includes a delicious lunch of downhome sausage and BBQ chicken. Whether you are a casual rider or a seasoned century cyclist, LifeCycle offers a professional and heart-centered environment for everyone.
Ride Distances and Routes
LifeCycle 2026 features several route options utilizing the same well-loved paths from 2025:
- 60 Miles: A challenging endurance route for long-distance enthusiasts.
- 45 Miles: A solid intermediate route through the Louisiana countryside.
- 28 Miles: A popular mid-range distance for recreational cyclists.
- 18 Miles: Accomplished by completing two laps of the family loop.
- 9 Miles: A family-friendly loop perfect for beginners.
Support and Logistics
The ride is fully supported to ensure safety and comfort for all participants:
- Rest Stops: Fully stocked stations with hydration and snacks every 10 to 12 miles.
- Safety: Extensive sheriff support along the route and dedicated SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles.
- Course Marking: Routes are clearly marked for easy navigation.
- After-Ride Party: From 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring BBQ chicken, sausage, and community celebration.
Event Schedule
- Friday, June 5 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM): Carb-load and packet pick-up at Hopdoddy Burger Bar (Shreveport). Mention “LifeCycle” and 20% of your order will be donated to the cause!
- Saturday, June 6:
- 6:30 AM: On-site registration and check-in opens.
- 7:30 AM: Start time for 45 and 60-mile routes.
- 7:45 AM: Start time for 9, 18, and 28-mile routes.
- 12:00 PM: Course support officially concludes.
