About the Ride:
The Jalapeño 100 is back for its 34th year, honoring Henry Roberts with a century ride that takes cyclists from Harlingen to Port Mansfield and back, featuring rural roads, strong South Texas winds, and some of the best rest stops in Texas.
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, this event offers multiple distances to fit all experience levels:
- 100 Mile Ride – The ultimate challenge through the Rio Grande Valley
- 67.7 & 69.2 Mile Routes – A great test of endurance
- 50 Mile Ride – A solid ride for intermediate cyclists
- 50 Mile Gravelpeno Ride – Off-road excitement for gravel riders
- 25 & 12 Mile Routes – Perfect for beginners or those looking for a shorter ride
All participants enjoy a post-ride dinner, well-stocked rest stops, and full route support.
Race Day Schedule:
- 6:00 AM – Late Registration & Packet Pickup
- 7:00 AM – Opening Ceremonies
- 7:15 AM – 100 Mile Ride Start
- 7:25 AM – 66.7 Mile Ride Start
- 7:35 AM – 50 Mile Ride Start
- 7:45 AM – Gravelpeno 50 Mile Ride Start
- 7:55 AM – 25 & 12 Mile Ride Start
- 11:00 AM – Post-Ride Celebration
- 2:00 PM – Water Stop at Port Mansfield Closes
- 4:00 PM – Course Closes
- Minimum average speed: 13 MPH
- Cut-off times will be enforced
