About the Ride:
The DFW Winter Series is a five-week series of weeknight races held on Loop 5 of the Northshore Trail in Flower Mound. Race 4 features a 2.6-mile course with rock gardens, creek crossings, and challenging climbs, providing a thrilling experience for all participants.
Race Categories and Start Times:
- 6:00 PM: Juniors (13 and Under)
- 6:30 PM: Women (Elite, Intermediate, Beginner)
- 6:45 PM: Kid’s Strider Race
- 7:15 PM: Men (Elite, Intermediate, Beginner), Singlespeed, and E-bike
Lighting Requirements:
As the race transitions from dusk to darkness, all participants are required to have both a white front light and a rear red blinkie light. Rental lights are available in limited quantities each week. Local bike shops and DFW Series sponsors offer great deals on winter riding gear, including lights.
Registration Fees:
- Adults (14 years and older):
- $30 during the pre-registration period
- $40 during the late registration period
- Juniors (under 13):
- $20 during the pre-registration period
