We are thrilled to invite you to beautiful Burleson this Memorial Day weekend for the annual Burleson Honey Tour. As contractors for this event, we are proud to showcase a ride that has become a cornerstone of local celebration, attracting nearly 2,000 cyclists each year. The tour takes participants through a scenic landscape of rolling hills and vibrant North Texas countryside, offering a refreshing escape with the perfect blend of challenge and beauty.

The weekend is more than just a bike ride; it is a city-wide festival. While you conquer the roads, the City of Burleson hosts the BTX Honey Tour Carnival in Old Town, featuring carnival rides, live music, and arts and crafts. Local businesses also join the spirit by offering exclusive discounts to riders, making it the perfect opportunity to explore the shops and tastes of Burleson.

Ride Distances & Routes

The Honey Tour is designed for every age and skill level, featuring five distinct, color-coded routes:

  • 67 Miles (Orange): The ultimate endurance challenge for seasoned cyclists.
  • 46 Miles (Red): A vigorous intermediate route through the heart of Johnson County.
  • 30 Miles (Blue): A moderate distance popular with recreational enthusiasts.
  • 20 Miles (Yellow): A scenic loop perfect for casual riders and families.
  • 7 Miles (Green): A short, beginner-friendly route for novices and young children.

Support and Logistics

Participant safety and comfort are our top priorities:

  • Rest Stops: Located approximately every 10 miles, stocked with cold water, fresh fruit, and enthusiastic volunteers.
  • Safety & SAG: Medical assistance is provided by Texas Health, and multiple SAG (Support and Gear) wagons patrol the routes for mechanical aid.
  • Course Closure: All courses officially close at 2:00 PM.
  • Post-Ride Perks: Celebrate your finish with free food, refreshing treats, and access to showers at Centennial High School.

Event Schedule

  • Check-In & Registration: Opens at 6:00 AM at Centennial High School.
  • Mass Start: 8:00 AM (Staggered starts by distance to ensure safety).
  • Carnival: Festivities continue in Old Town Burleson throughout the weekend.

Registration and Fees

Registration includes an official event t-shirt and access to all post-ride amenities.

  • Standard Rate: $55.00 (Current pricing for all distances).
  • Price Increase: Registration fees will increase after Monday, May 18, 2026.
  • Limit: The event is capped at 2,000 participants to ensure a quality experience for all.
