About the Ride:

Beast of the Backroads features a challenging 103-mile bike race with 7,000 feet of elevation and cash prizes for the top 5 men and women, as well as 65-mile and 26-mile routes, plus 5k and 10-mile runs on mixed surfaces perfect for road, gravel, or MTB bikes.

FRIDAY (LOCATION TBA)
4:30PM-6:30pm EARLY PACKET PICKUP

SATURDAY AT PRIVATE RANCH
Please arrive 30-60 min. before your start time
6:30am-8am packet pickup
8am mandatory riders meeting
8:15am 103m race starts
8:30am 65m race starts
8:45am 26m race starts
9AM 5K & 10M RUN STARTS

4PM COURSE CLOSES

ALL PARTICIPANTS

OPEN public roads, RIDE/RUN ACCORDINGLY, WATCH FOR TRAFFIC
vehicles of all types, pot holes, fallen tree limbs, gravel, dirt, water AND POSSIBLE dogs/wild animals, stop signs & road crossings.
be courteous and respectful of other riders/RUNNERS no rude behavior will be tolerated
be safe Take Care Of YOU and those around you
ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO DROP EARLY/QUIT MUST LET RACE DIRECTOR KNOW AT START/FINISH LINE
NO LITTERING
NO CUTTING COURSE
All courses will start and finish at same location

RIDERS

RIDERS stay on the right side of the road, look left right left (clear all intersections)
load route file on your GPS SYSTEM, COURSE will be marked (signs sometimes get vandalized)
you are responsible for your own breakdowns other riders can help each other.
recommend road bikes w 28-32mm tubeless tires, gravel or MTB bikes NO TT bikes for 103m & 65m race
Any bike should be fine on 26m course
