Event: 35th Annual Gator Ride, Gear Up to End Hunger
Route Distances: 63, 53, 43, 33 mile routes, and 5.6 mile Family Ride
About the Ride:
We’re back baby! You asked for it and this year the Fred Hartman Bridge is back for those who like the challenge of the climb and feel the need for speed on the downhill.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever with five routes to choose from, we invite riders of all ages and experience levels to join us for a day of outdoor fun, fitness, and community spirit.
Join us for the 35th Annual Gator Ride!
The Gator Ride is an annual tradition that supports healthy activity and benefits Hearts and Hands of Baytown to end hunger in our community. This year we celebrate 35 years and are excited to announce the return of the Fred Hartman bridge routes!
As an MS150 Additional Training Ride, this is an event that you need to place on your calendar. Course lengths are 33, 43, 53, and 63miles. There is even a 5.6-mile family ride!
Get your ride on then come hang out in Gator Ride Village, a gathering place for riders before, during, and after the ride to grab a bite, interact with vendor booths, have fun with a photo booth, and other family-friendly activities.
All proceeds from the Gator Ride, Gear Up to End Hunger will go toward our Annual Campaign. The most basic need for survival is food, and an unacceptable number of families need food assistance in our community. Hearts and Hands of Baytown is leading the fight to address food insecurity by providing access to fresh, healthy food to residents via our four pillar programs. In all our endeavors, we work to remove the stigma of needing food and provide clients with opportunities to strive toward self-sufficiency.
This year’s Gator Ride offers something for every kind of rider out there. For more information or to register, head to https://heartsandhandsofbaytown.com/gator-ride/
