About the Ride:
Get ready to ride through the scenic paved county roads of Gatesville! The Fire Ant Tour offers routes of varying lengths to suit all levels of cyclists, from beginners to seasoned riders, with options for 11, 32, 50 miles, and a challenging 100K (61 miles). This event is the perfect kickoff to summer riding and a fantastic way to explore the beautiful Texas countryside.
Early bird registration is available until March 28 for a discounted rate. After that, prices increase by $5, and after May 9, they go up again. So, register early and save!
Ride Packet Pickup & Onsite Registration:
Pick up your ride packet early on Friday, June 13, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Gatesville Civic Center. On event day, packet pickup and onsite registration will also be available from 6:15 to 7:00 AM at 301 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Gatesville, TX. Please note that onsite registration doesn’t guarantee a finisher medal or event shirt.
Your SWAG bag includes a free pass to a local fitness center or pool for a post-ride hot shower and one raffle ticket—don’t lose it! After you cross the finish line, visit the winner’s table to see if you’ve won a prize.
The ride kicks off with a mass start at 7:15 AM, but for those who prefer a more leisurely start, riders are welcome to begin anytime up to 8:00 AM. No starts will be allowed after 8:00 AM. Helmets and safety gear are mandatory, and e-bikes are welcome and encouraged.
SAG Support:
SAG stations will be available approximately every 10 to 13 miles along each route, with porta-potties at every station. SAG wagons will patrol all routes to provide assistance as needed.
