About the Ride: The 24th Annual Cross Timbers Classic Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011. This is the first year that the event will be a joint effort between the Flower Mound Rotary and the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds from the race will benefit both non-profit organizations.
While the starting location at Texas Motor Speedway remains the same, bikers will experience an alternate route, traveling through many of the six cities that make up the Northwest Metroport Chamber, including Justin, Northlake, Roanoke, Trophy Club and Westlake.
The race has become a tradition for the North Texas region with participation by more than 1,500 in previous years. The race is staffed 100 percent by volunteers and exemplifies what can be accomplished when an entire community comes together.

Pre-registration is $30 and must be postmarked no later than May 10, 2011. After the May 10, 2011 deadline, registration will be $35. Children eight and under are free. Race day registration begins at 6:30 a.m.
