Date: Saturday, October 8, 2011 — 8:00 AM
Event: 25th Annual Outlaw Trail 100 Cycling Tour — Road
Route Distances: 10, 25, 40, 50, 63 and 100 mile
About the Ride: Each year, the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department hosts the Outlaw Trail 100 bike tour featuring 10 mile, 25 mile, 40 mile, 50 mile, 63 mile, and 100 mile loop courses on county roads through historic Williamson County.
Outlaw Trail isn’t competitive; it is an opportunity to join cyclists from across Texas for a ride across Williamson County. There are 9 rest stops set up along the trail for cyclists to grab some snacks or a drink. Riders can ride at their own pace and rely on support from sag wagons and rest stops throughout their ride. The tour closes at 5 p.m. so cyclists should select a course they can finish within that time period.
10 mi, 25 mi, 40 mi, 50 mi, 63 mi (100 K), and 100 mi loop courses on county roads through historic eastern Williamson County. These challenging road courses will give you the taste of small town and rural life. Food and drink may be purchased in the towns if desired. Color copy of official map will be available to all cyclists at event and in event packet.
