Event: 15th Annual Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour
Route Distances: 11, 26, 47, 61 and 73 miles
About the Ride:
The Sweatin’ Burnt Orange Bike Tour, now in its 15th year, is the annual fundraiser for The University of Texas at Austin Cycling Club. Each year, Texas alumni and club supporters ride through the beautiful hill country around Blanco, Texas. Rolling hills, fast descents, and punchy climbs make for great riding, while rest stops and support vehicles ensure a safe and comfortable ride.
The event hosts five fully supported route lengths between 11 and 73 miles. At the end of the ride, participants are treated to real Texas BBQ on the square. One complimentary T-shirt and goodies are included in the registration fee.
Additionally, we’re glad to announce a university student discount! Full registration price for students is $30, and a student ID must be presented at packet pickup.
This event is an incredible Texas riding experience that’ll leave you Sweatin’ Burnt Orange!
