RIDE TO CURE FA!

Join us at Lewisville Railroad Park for a 15, 10, or 4.5-mile ride, or a 1.5-mile walk/ride, plus an awesome celebration of your fundraising efforts to support research for Friedreich’s ataxia (FA).

Funds raised through rideATAXIA support the mission of the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA)- advancing research to treat and cure FA. To learn more about FARA’s mission, visit curefa.org

Routes and Schedule:

• 8:30 AM: Check in / Registration Open
• 9:30 AM: 15 Mile start
  Bike trail with some road crossings and railroad crossings. Rest Stop at 7.5 miles. Under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 
• 10:00 AM: 10 Mile start
  Bike trail with some road crossings and railroad crossings. Rest Stop at 5 miles. Under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 
• 10:30 AM: 4.5 Mile start
  Paved trail within Railroad Park. Repeat up to 3 times.
• 11:00 AM: 1.5 Mile start
  Walk or ride, paved trail within Railroad Park. 
• 11:00 am to 1:00 pm:  Lunch by Outback Steakhouse

PLEASE NOTE: To ensure the safety of our riders and support crews, riders on the 25-mile and 50-mile routes must maintain an average speed of at least 10 MPH, including stops. Please check out the elevation profile for your route below and plan accordingly. If you are unable to maintain the pace, you will be picked up by our support crew and take to the event location.
