About the Ride:
Kick off the cycling year with the Freeze Your Fanny Bike Ride, a fundraiser supporting East Texas Lightnin’, an independent team of athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities. East Texas Lightnin’ is a 501(c)(3) charity, and their athletes participate in Special Olympics Texas events. Join us for this scenic East Texas ride and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Friday Pre-Event Details
Packet Pickup & Registration
- Time: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Location: Orr PreOwned Longview, 4288 US Hwy 259 N, Longview, TX 75605
- Note: Registration is available during packet pickup, but shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants.
Saturday Event Details

Packet Pickup & Race Day Schedule:
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Packet Pickup
- 10:00 AM: Ride Start
Important Notes for Riders:
- Team riders should position themselves at the front of the pack at the start of the ride.
- Watch for signage along the routes for guidance.
- SAG vehicles will provide support throughout the day.
- Inclement Weather Policy:
- If road conditions are unsafe (sleet, rain, snow, etc.), the ride start may be delayed by one hour.
- Course closes at 3:00 PM, or 4:00 PM if a weather delay occurs.
