About the Ride:

Steamboat Cycling Club is sponsoring its 6th Annual Cycling Clinic on Saturday October 2nd from 8:30 – 12 noon at Wylie West Jr High at 4010 Beltway South.  The cycling clinic will be conducted by Chris Geischeidle with Athletic Volition LLC of Richardson, TX.  https://athleticvolition.com/

The cycling clinic is a MUST for all level of riders.  Even though Chris will be covering a lot of basic information about how we ride our bikes; you will leave a better cyclist!  We guarantee it!!

In addition to some of the drills that will help with your cycling, Chris will open the clinic the last hour to all previous paid attendees to come and have a session on cornering.  This session will start approximately 11 am.  Be sure to register on BikeReg for this….NO COST!

After the completion of the morning clinic and lunch on your own, we will have a group – no drop – ride at 1:30 pm leaving from the Wylie West Intermediate School at 3158 Beltway South (FM707 & Hardwick).  NO COST FOR THE RIDE BUT PLEASE REGISTER ON BIKEREG!

INCENTIVES FOR YOU TO COME:
1) Drawing will be done to have one (1) attendee to receive a full refund for the cycling clinc ($35 or $45 will be paid or the $15 for student entry)

3) All attendees will receive first place points (60) towards the 2022 Monthly Time Trials sponsored by Bike Town & Steamboat Cycling Club

Discounts will be provided to Steamboat Cycling Club members.  HOWEVER, if you join Steamboat Cycling Club now you will be able to use the member pricing for the clinics and your membership will be for the remaining 2021 year and all of 2022!  You will receive a club T-shirt as well!
