Join us for the Stampede on the Chisholm Trail – Metric Century 2025, a scenic cycling event in Belton, Texas. This ride offers routes for all skill levels while supporting incredible community initiatives through the Belton Lions Club.

About the Ride:
The Stampede on the Chisholm Trail begins at 8:00 AM at the Harris Community Center in Belton, Texas, and takes riders along the picturesque bike trails and countryside roads of Bell County.

Cyclists can choose from four routes:

  • 12 Miles: Includes 1 rest stop.
  • 30 Miles: Features 3 rest stops.
  • 55 Miles & 62 Miles: Offer 5 rest stops and a rewarding challenge for seasoned cyclists.

All routes finish along Belton’s Hike and Bike Trail beside Nolan Creek, providing a scenic end to a memorable ride.

Rest Stops: Each route is equipped with snacks, hydration, and nutrition to keep you fueled.

Pre- and Post-Ride Activities:

  • Morning juice, fruit, and snacks provided before the ride.
  • Free hot dog lunch available post-ride, served by Eldred’s Nursery Foundation trainees.
  • Snow cones for purchase from Belton High School Special Needs students.
  • Bib Raffle for all registered participants.

The event will be held rain or shine (no refunds).

Support and Safety:

  • King of the Mountain Cyclery (KOM): Official bike shop providing SAG support throughout the ride.
  • STRAVA links for all routes, provided by KOM.

  • Friday, May 9 (Time/Location TBA).
  • Event day: 6:30–8:00 AM.

On-site Registration:
Available on May 10 at 6:30 AM.
