About the Ride:
Join us for the Pedal to Empower Teens (PTET) Charity Bicycle Ride, an exciting opportunity to explore the scenic roads of Beauregard Parish while contributing to a great cause! This inaugural event supports the Kingdom Center, a local youth organization committed to empowering and uplifting teens in the DeRidder community.
The ride begins and ends at the Kingdom Center in DeRidder, LA, and offers four route options, ensuring that riders of all skill levels can enjoy the event. From the short and scenic 1-mile route to the challenging 50-mile ride, every participant will get a chance to experience the beauty of “No Man’s Land.”
The Kingdom Center, established in 2021 by the Clark family, serves as a safe and supportive space for teens aged 13-18. It provides mentorship, tutoring, career counseling, and life skills training while also offering recreational activities like sports and gaming. Proceeds from the PTET Charity Bicycle Ride will help fund the center’s programs and services, which include educational support and food assistance.
This event is not just a ride—it’s a community effort to make a lasting impact on the lives of local teens.
