About the Ride:
Pace Bend Park overlooks Lake Travis west of Austin. The course is a 6.2 mile loop on good asphalt with limited traffic. Cyclists may ride as many laps as desired during respective duration. Chip timing used to track laps/distance. No requirements on minimum or maximum number of laps. Riders may start and stop as often as desired during specified duration.
Entry Includes – Chip Timing, Insurance, Parking, Bathrooms, Showers, Awards, staffed and marked course. Hugs available upon request. High Fives are free 🙂
Parking – DRIVE THE PARK LOOP CLOCKWISE. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT TURN ON GRISHAM TRAIL. IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE DRIVING ON THE COURSE WITH THE FLOW OF THE RACE AND RISK BLOCKING THE CHIP TIMING ANTENNAS AS YOU PULL INTO THE PIT AREA AS RACERS RIDE BY. PLEASE DRIVE AGAINST THE FLOW OF THE RACE (IT’S LONGER BUT FASTER ACTUALLY).

Rules – Helmets must be worn when on bicycle. Drafting NOT allowed for any category. Relay teams may only have one rider on course at a time, but may switch riders in the pits as often as desired.
Awards – Everyone who finishes receives an award. To be considered a finisher one must ride the following distances in the duration selected: 24 Hour = 32 laps (198.4 miles), 12 Hour = 18 laps (111.6 miles), 6 Hour = 9 laps (55.8 miles).
Award Ceremonies – Handed out after results are final, location TBD. Awards for Top 3 Males & Top 3 Females in each solo race category AND Age Group awards for 1st finisher Male/Female 40+, 50+, 60+ & 70+ 1st in all solo races. Tandems/teams will award the top 3 Male teams, top 3 Female teams
The 24 Hour event is a RAAM Qualifier. Please note: space is limited. To protect the non-drafting integrity of the event we are limiting the race to 100 riders on the course at any one time.
