About the Ride:
Join the Trek Bicycle Arlington South October Century of The Month Crew and Iron Riders Dallas Cycling Club for the 12th Annual IRDCC “Pink Pedal” ride. This event is organized to promote Breast Cancer Awareness, and it’s an opportunity to ride in unity while supporting a worthy cause.
Free Event & Registration:
This is a free event, focused on increasing awareness, support, and participation. No registration fees are required, but there will be onsite donation opportunities to support local Breast Cancer Support Organizations.
Why We Ride:
We ride in UNITY to celebrate the lives of our Mothers, Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Cousins, Friends — all survivors and thrivers. We also ride to honor those who have lost their battle with cancer.
Why We Wear Pink:
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and pink is the symbolic color representing the cause. Wearing pink is a visual way to raise awareness and show support, so pink out during the ride!
Special Highlights:
- Event Bags will be given to the first 50 guests, containing Breast Health Resources and other goodies. First come, first served!
- A Moment of Silence will be held to honor the life of cycling friend Chuck Henson from Fort Worth, TX.
