About the Ride:
The legendary ride is back again for 2022 and is being sponsored by Fast Cholo Racing, Fast Cholo Sealant, the Valley Off-Road Bicycling Association (VORBA), and Sophie’s SS Saloon. If you’re reading this it’s because you know what this is and you’re willing to subject yourself to the torment it entails. In short, it’s a 50 mile multi-surface slug-fest that is culminated in festivities and camaraderie at its completion.This year we are doing things a bit differently than last year by including gravel and MTB categories. However, if you want to get on the Traditional Trophy and be etched in history you’ll have to ride in the traditional fashion. In other words you can’t win on a gravel or mountain bike and be on the trophy. You must race on a roadie and abide by the rules laid out.All registration fees and proceeds will go toward VORBA, your local IMBA chapter and a 501c3 non-profit organization that works to build and sustain local trails.The Classes:Traditional bike specs:”Traditional” Road bike specs

5. No aerobars.The ONE ginormous caveat for this return is there will not be any PERSONAL SAGS ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS. You must take advantage of the NEUTRAL SAG or carry your own supplies. Keeps the playing field level for all.We’ll have support throughout the course and a vehicle at the turnaround plus some carnita at the finish. Come join the party!!
