Date: April 3 – 7, 2023

Event: Cycle Zydeco

Route Distances: 14, 38, and 62 miles

About the Ride:

Cycle Zydeco is a four-day casual touring ride in South Louisiana. The ride takes place every year during the week after Easter. The festivities include great food, live music, and the finest flat roads Louisiana has to offer.

Cycle Zydeco is a festival on wheels. Experience mouthwatering Cajun cuisine and live performances by the best bands in Louisiana. The ride includes tours of many attractions and options for camping or staying in hotels. Immerse yourself in Acadiana: the birthplace of Zydeco, home to both Cajuns and Créoles alike, and one of the most unique cultures in the United States.

THE PRIORITIES OF CYCLE ZYDECO:

  1. EAT
  2. DANCE
  3. DRINK
  4. RIDE A BICYCLE TO THE NEXT FESTIVE LOCATION

Each day we offer at least two route options. The main route we try to keep is around 38 miles (61km) and the long route will be 62.14 miles (100km) or more. We will have some riding options available on Wednesday (April 3rd) that will be marked, but it is not a supported ride. All routes include points of interest such as brewery tours, swamp tours, and other good times that you will find only in Acadiana!

Enjoy the magic of Cajun Country while riding your bike.

Have a good time, but leave the racing to the horses!
