About the ride:
2024 is a “QUALIFYING YEAR” to be able to compete in the 2025 National Senior Games, to be held in Des Moines, Iowa in July 2025.
All in-state and out-of-state athletes ages 40 and up can enter and can compete in our Arkansas Games. All athletes who are 50 or older in age by December 31, 2024 that enter in our Arkansas Games in 2024 can attempt to qualify to go the the 2025 National Games, by meeting the qualifying standards in your own 5-year group (50-54, 55-59, 60-64, etc.).
Our 2024 Arkansas Entry Fees for most sports will be $50 per person, allowing each athlete to compete in 1,2,3,4 or as many as 5 events for this one price. If you desire to do more than 5 events, then it’s just $5 per added event (ie. you want to add the 50m & 100m runs in track as your 6th and 7th events, as example). So, if an athlete signs up for say 7 events the total entry fee will be $50 +$10 = $60 total. Some sports, like golf, tennis, basketball pickleball, and other sports will likely have different associated fees. So please refer to each Sports’ page on our website, and/or contact Greg, the Director before continuing on to inquire. Or simply start your registration here…. and see your Total entry fees during your Registration Checkout You will need to be pay via PayPal.com.
And, if you prefer NOT to pay online here, and wish to send us a check or make other payment arrangements, we ask that you please contact Greg directly at 501-321-1441 or fill our our online Contact Form with details, to help get you signed up. Some athletes DO NOT have a PayPal account, or DO NOT wish to create a PayPal account, and that’s fine, we understand. If this is you, this optionally you can send us a check in the mail, or bring a check or cash to our office or to the event itself. We try to make it easy for you to register, and be comfortable in doing so.
Also, if there are not enough athletes signed up for any sport or event at least 7 days prior to that sport/event being held, then the Director reserves the right to alter or cancel the event as deemed fit, and we will notify all existing registered athletes of the situation with options from that point. If a sport/event is canceled for any reason then pre-paid entry fees made by athletes can be refunded at the discretion of the Director, minus a non-refundable $10 per athlete processing fee. And… importantly… If an athlete can not compete in or can not attend any sport/event that is held & that has been paid for, then NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
