About the Ride:
Travis County Sheriff ’s Office and Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) invite you to participate in Road Share, a cycling ride benefitting SOTX athletes in the Central Texas area. Your participation helps provide sports, inclusion and health programs for children and adult athletes with intellectual disabilities. Road Share is also a collaborative effort to promote safety standards for cyclists and motorists of Travis County by encouraging the community to join in the commitment that all passengers on the road look out for each other, so that we can all reach our destinations safely.
Registration
Early registration ends Wednesday, October 19
Registration for any distance/classification includes a commemorative Road Share t-shirt and lunch.
If spectators would like to have lunch they can purchase a lunch ticket at the event for $5.
Registration for the 2 mile friendly loop will stay open until 9:20am on the day of the event.
Day of registration
6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Manor ISD Athletic Complex for Gold, Silver and Bronze routes.
2 mile Family-Friendly Loop: 6:30 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.

Safety
Rest Stops: We will have 7 rest stops along the route with refreshments and portable toilets. Support vehicles will travel the routes to assist riders, but riders should be equipped to fix flats and do minor repairs. Emergency medical assistance will be provided.
Cyclists are expected to obey the rules of the road and honor all traffic signs and lights. Cyclists will also be asked to form a single line to allow vehicles to pass. Use of an ANSI or SNELL approved bicycle helmet is strongly recommended.
Weather: Conditions in October are usually cooler and rain showers may occur. If the weather is severe, the ride may be cancelled and we will not provide refunds.
