About the Ride:
The Happy to Help ride supports the MTK Foundation and its endeavor to help local kids and their families who have been diagnosed with cancer. The ride will begin in the parking lot of Randall High School and will continue to Happy, TX. From there, the route will head east and eventually take you past Buffalo Lake. From Buffalo Lake, it then heads back through Canyon, around the United Center, up Buffalo Hill, and back to Amarillo. There will be 3 out and back options: Buffalo Hill – 17 miles, Hungate Road – 30 miles, Happy, TX – 60 miles, and the full lap of 82 miles which loops through the Buffalo Lake Wildlife Refuge and returns to Randall High School in Amarillo.
Rest/Refreshment stops will be at Hungate Rd, Happy, Buffalo Lake, and Canyon, with the ride concluding at Randall High School. We will supply athletic drinks at each rest stop as well as oranges and bananas. Water will be provided at the finish line.
Parking is available in the student parking lot of Randall High School adjacent to the baseball fields.
